okay so on friday i went to a friend's (haydn) party. it was about half past ten at night and half of us were at Haydn's and the other half were across the road at his friend Corey's house. We'd been debating for the past half an hour or so whether or not we wanted to go to maccas or kfc. so me kendall and mark started heading back over to Haydn's and he came walking up his driveway. Jamie, brodie, stacey and chris were all on the front lawn. Me and kendall run up to Haydn and were like 'heyaaa. where are you goooing?' and he's like 'maccas' so we all started following and then Haydn was walking super fast. me and kendall were the only ones who kept up with him and the others were coming along heaps slower. It seemed like Haydos was upset or something, he was walking so fast that me and kendall had to run to keep up with him. it was dark and we didn't know where we were going, we were just following him. and then all of a sudden he turned sideways and bolted across the highway, it didn't even look like he checked for cars first. me and kendall were like 'Haydn what the hell, that's a ROAD. Haydn, haydn, come on this isn't funny anymore' but he kept going and we almost lost him. eventually we made it to maccas and we were standing in line. kendall goes 'ima go to the bathroom' and so she did. then when she came back i said i was going to go. and kenny goes 'ill come with you' i was like 'no. you stay here' out of concern for Haydn, he was acting very weird. Then as soon as i pushed open the bathroom door to go in i heard kendall yell out Haydn's name and turned around to see him running through maccas for the door. we called out and chased after him, but he ran off. the others had just gotten to maccas by this stage so we stayed with them and then a few minutes later haydn comes back with chris and they went and bought food. it was so weird. (i was the only sober one at this party by the way) and then we were all just about to head back to haydn's house when this drunk, creepy old guy carrying a full carton of cascade (in other words a giant box of beer that he needed two hands to carry). he'd just come from the pub so he was pretty hammered. and stacey knew who he was and he waved at her, so she went over to say hello just to be polite. the rest of us started walking up the overpass and then stacey caught up with us and said 'Run. I'm serious' and then the creepy man was chasing us yelling 'OI. GET BACK HERE YOU FUCKHEADS' we all bolted. i swear i have never run so fast in my life. i was about fifty meters in front of everyone else and we were running along some fence in the dark and i saw this other man walking up the hill as if he was going to cut me off. i didnt know who he was but had a sinking feeling that he was with the first man. So i stopped running and just stood there in the dark, looking back at the others. Then Haydn yelled 'ASHLIE?!' and i started running again, i didn't know where the second man was, he seemed to have disapeared in the bushes. then because we were the one running fastest me kendall and chris got seperated from the others and cut across some paddock, falling over in the dark but still running from this man. We made it back to Haydn's eventually but the others were nowhere in sight. turns out they'd all gone back to fight the man (the result of them all being drunk). nobody was hurt in the end, we managed to find them before they found the man. But it was really scary! So that was my near death experience (: i was being over dramatic haha. The funny thing is that there were so many of us and only one of him, but we still ran :P what losers we areee.
