Years ago in Laufeia, wolves roamed in peace, no war terrorized the land. There were no packs that divided the wolves to force certain individuals to go to a specific pack, for they all worked together. At least, they used to. On one unfaithful day, four wolves had gotten into a heated argument. Why? Simple, they each thought that it would be best if they create a pack, and gather many members to join. Of course, producing a pack, you needed an alpha. Unfortunately, the four wanted to be the new, powerful alpha of Laufeia. But each of them knew that there could only be one..

Atrai, the gentle and kind femme explained that she would be the best leader, for she would keep the peace and tranquility upon the lands as the way it already was. Calix, a fierce and brave wolfess retorted that letting Atrai or anyone else become the alpha would be a waste, for nothing would change. She wanted to bring glory to the pack, to lead them to victories of numerous battles and claim other territories for there own. Dontai, a mysterious pessimistic brute complained that a female could never lead a pack to greatness as he could. He wanted to stay hidden in the shadows with his new pack, and anyone who tried to enter his land would be killed to prevent raids and the such. Lastly, Baize, a usually silent but calm brute said that no of the three candidates before him would do a good job. He wanted to keep the pack neutral, and to not get into any wars, or try to keep the peace. While the four bickered some more, the rest of the wolves tried to voice there own opinions on the matter, but no one would listen..

As days progressed, snide remarks turned to arguments, arguments turned to hate, and eventually there hate led to fights. It seemed that the only way they could resolve all this, was to let each of the four become an alpha, for each of there own, unique pack. That, was the only thing they seemed to all agree on, and they eventually divided the wolves into four groups. Each group of wolves now went along with there new found leader, and formed a rivalry between the other packs. That, is what it is like in the present. With those four famous wolves, who are now long and gone, there names remain for each of there packs to remember. Not one pack likes the other.. but what about the loners? Do they even have a say about any of this? They live away from them, away from the war and hate they up rise on a daily basis. They tried numerous times to talk with the packs, but no one would hear of it. Eventually, they stopped trying, for there voices seemed to be finally broken.

Now, there seems to be a huge problem. The alphess of Atrai has been secretly disappearing into the night, and no one knows what she's up to.. except one. Her lover. Just saying that seems to be fine, but it would make others cry havoc on her if anyone knew. Her lover, is the alpha of the Dontai. They hold a forbidden love, and worse yet, they tend to find mates so that their packs won't suspect a thing. Someday, one broken voice may repair itself, and speak the truth to all..
