Averie
What she was was unknown. Upon seeing her form,
you would behold a glowing white sphere, too bright
to look at for long. Upon that fateful of days, she
was cast from her kingdom by those who she had
called loyal, for they were jealous of her power.
Unable to hurt her own, she accepted her fate and
hurtled down into the world of the mortals. The glowing
goddes crashed into the earth carving a valley into
it from the force. Welcome to The Valley Of The Sun.
Sparks flew off her form, landing all around her. She
gazed around at the creatures that had formed.
She left them and traveled to the top of her canyon,
claiming it as her domain. Looking down below her at
her ceatures, she saw that many had died, for the land
was barren and dry. Seeing that two were left, she shaped
the lands into what they are today. She watched as many
generations of her creatures grew up and the first two died.
She was unknown to them and she kept it that way, only
welcoming those she felt were loyal into her domain, for
none could find it on their own. She swore all she gave gifts
to to a vow of secrecy. They would never tell of her or their
powers and that they would remain loyal to her. But Averie's
gods have forgotten her vows and as the mortals lie peacefully
below, above a new war is too begin.

The Valley Of The Sun is a realistic and mythical rpg. When you start, you must be a mortal and you can rpg it normally. If Averie is pleased with one of your characters, she will bring them to Avershon (I will give you the password) and then they can be part of the mythical plot. Of course, you are not forced to be in that plot, it is just giving you an opportunity to join it. It is a new site, so don't be discouraged by the few members. After all, that's how all sites start out. We are open to role players of all levels and we hope we'll see you there soon.
